Award winning actor and musician Gary Reid presents "A Life of Sorrow -  The Life and Times of Carter Stanley", a show that highlights the journey of a music legend.  Carter Stanley rose to fame from his beginnings in the music industry as a singer of Appalachian music, which has evolved into what we all know as Bluegrass.  Through a blend of story telling and music, Reid will take participants through the journey Carter Stanley took as a solo singer and as part of the Stanley Brothers.

This 90 minute program is free, but as space is limited, patrons need to get a ticket from the library before the event.  This is an adult only program.

Doors will open at 6:00 the night of the event, with the program beginning at 6:30.
